Melting point 27 °C (25.5-26 °C), boiling point 161-162.4 °C (1.2 kPa), 110 °C (4×10-2 kPa), relative density 1.335 (30/4 °C), refractive index 1.4905 (30 °C). Soluble in ethanol, slightly soluble in cold ethanol, insoluble in water. Readily deliquescent.
