Product Description

Nickel sesquioxide, also known as nickel peroxide. It is a black shiny powder. Molecular weight is 165.42. Density is 4.83. Insoluble in water. It releases oxygen when dissolved in sulfuric acid and nitric acid. Releases chlorine when dissolved in hydrochloric acid and is also soluble in ammonia water. At 600ºC, it can be reduced to nickel monoxide.
