Dimethyl adipate is Colorless and transparent liquid. Melting point 10-11 °C, boiling point 115 °C (1.73 kPa), 112 °C (1.33 kPa), relative density 1.063 (20/4 °C), refractive index 1.4283. Flash point 107 °C. Soluble in alcohols and ethers, insoluble in water.
