Applications

In some systems such as epoxy resins, sebacohydrazide (Decanedihydrazide) can be used as a curing agent. It undergoes a cross-linking reaction with the epoxy resin, causing the resin to cure and improving the properties of the material such as hardness and strength. In some fields of metal processing and anti-corrosion, sebacohydrazide can be used as a metal corrosion inhibitor. Through actions such as chemical adsorption on the metal surface, it forms a protective film to inhibit the corrosion process of the metal.
