Eucalyptol has a colorless to yellowish oily transparent liquid in appearance. It has a camphor smell and a refreshing herbal taste. Boiling point 176 °C, melting point 1~1.5 °C, Chemicalbook freezing point 1 °C, flash point 47~48 °C. Soluble in ethanol, ether, chloroform, glacial acetic acid, propylene glycol, glycerol and most non-volatile oils, slightly soluble in water.
