O-Phenylphenol is a white Crystalline Flakes with a distinct odor. When heated to decomposition, it emits acrid smoke and irritating fumes.

1. O-phenylphenol can be used as a fungal repellent; Fruit and vegetable preservatives.
2. Chemicalbook is used as a carrier for hydrophobic synthetic fiber chlorine, polyester and other carrier dyeing methods, surfactants, bactericidal preservatives, dye intermediates.
3. Fluorescent determination of triose reagents. Dye intermediates.
