Property:

It  is a yellow liquid mixture of relative amines derived from natural rosin. It is mainly composed of fatty acids and rosin acid, and fatty acids are mainly composed of oleic acid and linoleic acid; Rosinic acid is a diterpene carboxylic acid. 

 

Applications

It is used in the production of soap, ink, rubber, plastic industry, paint and coating industry, paper industry and lubricants, etc.
In the paper industry, tall oil rosin is used as pulp, tall oil asphalt can be made into coatings, moisture-proof paper, kraft paper and fiberboard, as well as lubricants used in oil drilling.
The role of tall oil in metalworking fluids can be broadly divided into three categories, namely rust inhibitors, emulsifiers and lubricants.
