Colorless to yellow liquid. Relative density 1.914 - 0.922, refractive index 1.468 - 1.472, flash point > 121 °C. Soluble in 4 volumes of 70% ethanol and oils. Acid value < 5.0. It has a fresh, powerful, elegant citrus fruit fragrance with a green leafy note, and also some anti-odor wood-like aroma. It has good diffusivity and average fragrance persistence.
