Product Description

White Oil/Liquid Paraffin (mineral Oil cosmetics) is Colorless translucent liquid, odorless and tasteless. Relative density is 0.831 - 0.863. Flash point is 164 - 228 °C. Soluble in ether, petroleum ether, and volatile oil. Miscible with most non-volatile oils (except castor oil). Insoluble in water and ethanol. Stable to light, heat, and acid. However, it will slowly oxidize under prolonged heating or exposure to light. No abnormalities were observed in rats administered orally at 1.25 g/kg. No specific ADI is specified.
