Cyclobutyl bromide can be used as a drug molecule and an organic synthesis intermediate. In organic synthesis transformations, the most common application method is to introduce cyclobutyl into the target molecule that needs modification through cyclobutyl bromide, or convert the bromine atom in the structure into the corresponding sulfonyl chloride unit. In addition, cyclobutyl bromide can generate the corresponding cyclobutene product by dehydrohalogenation.
