1,3-Dichloropropane is Colorless liquid. Freezing point is -99.5ºC, boiling point is 120.4ºC, relative density is 1.1896 (20/4ºC), refractive index is 1.4481, and flash point is 32ºC. It is readily soluble in alcohol and ether, and slightly soluble in water (0.27g/100ml).
