Product Description

Sodium Acetate is Colorless and odorless crystalline solid. It can be weathered in the air and is combustible. Soluble in water and ether, slightly soluble in ethanol. The melting point of sodium acetate trihydrate is 58 °C, the relative density is 1.45, and the spontaneous ignition point is 607.2 °C. It loses three molecules of water at 123 °C. The melting point of anhydrous sodium acetate is 324 °C, and the relative density is 1.528.

Sodium acetate anhydrous can be applied in many aspects such as esterifying agents for organic synthesis, photographic drugs, medicine, printing and dyeing mordants, buffers, chemical reagents, meat preservation, pigments, etc. It can be used to prepare various chemical products such as furylacrylic acid, acetate esters and chloroacetic acid. This product, as a buffer for seasonings, can prevent discoloration and has a certain anti-mildew effect. It can also be used as an acidulant for seasonings such as sauces, pickled cabbage, mayonnaise, fish cakes, sausages, bread, rice cakes, etc.
