Tetrabenzylthiuram disulfide is an environmentally friendly rubber vulcanization accelerator with excellent performance, abbreviated as TBzTD. Although it still belongs to the thiuram class, due to the large molecular weight of the generated dibenzylnitrosamine, it is a non-carcinogenic substance that is neither volatile nor soluble in water. Moreover, the amount of this product is small and it is non-polar, so there will be no blooming and it has a wide range of applications.
