Tricyclodecenyl acetate is widely used in fragrance formulations for soaps, detergents, and air fresheners. It is also suitable for fragrances such as gardenia, lily of the valley, lilac, jasmine, mignonette, heliotrope, lavender, aldehyde-woody fragrance, fresh-fruity fragrance, and modern new fragrance types. If used properly, it can achieve good aroma effects and show special aromas. It cannot be used as an edible flavor.
