Sodium Sulfate Anhydrous is White monoclinic crystals are fine crystals or powders. Relative density 2.68, melting point 884 ºC. Soluble in water, aqueous solution is neutral. Soluble in glycerin, insoluble in ethanol, exposed to air, easy to absorb water to become aqueous sodium sulfate. It is a homogeneous polycrystalline substance, at a temperature of 32.4~ 223 ºC for rhombus, at a higher temperature, the formation of monoclinic crystals, 241 ºC into hexagonal crystals. When crystallized from the solution, it has affinity for iron, iron compounds and various organic matter; high purity, fine particles of anhydrous sodium sulfate called Yuanming powder.

Mainly used as a filler for synthetic detergents. In the paper industry, it is used as a cooking agent for manufacturing sulfate pulp. In the glass industry, it is used to replace soda ash.
