2-bromopropionyl bromide is Colorless or light yellow liquid. Boiling point is 152-154ºC, 48-50ºC (1.3kPa). Relative density is 2.0612 (16/14ºC). Refractive index is 1.5182. It can be miscible with benzene, acetic acid and propionic acid. It decomposes when encountering water and alcohols.
