Sodium Persulfate
SODIUM PERSULPHATE;SODIUM PEROXYDISULFATE;SODIUM PEROXODISULFATE;PERSULPHATES;SODIUM PERSULFATE;persulfatedesodium;SodiumPersulphateGr;Natriumperoxodisulfat;SodiumPersulphate,>98%;Sodium peroxidisulfate
Sodium persulfate is also known as sodium persulfate. White crystalline or crystalline powder. Odorless. Tasteless. Molecular formula Na2S2O8, relative molecular weight 238.13. Gradually decomposed at room temperature, heated or in ethanol can be rapidly decomposed, decomposed after the release of oxygen and produce sodium pyrosulfate. Moisture and platinum black, silver, lead, iron, copper, magnesium, nickel, manganese and other metal ions or their alloys can promote decomposition, high temperature (about 200 ºC) rapid decomposition, release hydrogen peroxide. Easily soluble in water (70.4 at 20 ºC). Strong oxidizing. Strong irritation to the skin, long-term contact with the skin, can cause allergies, attention should be paid during operation. Rat oral LD50 895mg/kg. Sealed storage. The laboratory produces sodium persulfate by heating ammonium persulfate with caustic soda or sodium carbonate solution to remove ammonia and carbon dioxide
