Product Description

D-MannoseType α is a methyl crystal with a melting point of 133 °C; type β is an ethyl crystal with a melting point of 132 °C (decomposition point). It has a sweet taste and a slightly bitter aftertaste. It is easily soluble in water (250%), difficult to dissolve in ethanol (0.4%), and insoluble in ether.
