Product Description

Sodium Perborate Monohydrate Detergent Oxidizer Bleaching Agent is White monoclinic crystal grains or powder. Melting point is 63ºC. Soluble in acids, alkalis and glycerin, slightly soluble in water. The solution is alkaline (pH 10-11). The aqueous solution is unstable and extremely easy to release active oxygen. In cold and dry air, sodium perborate with higher purity is relatively stable. It decomposes in air at 40ºC or in humid air and releases oxygen. At 63ºC, it decomposes by dissolving in its own crystal water and forms a viscous solid block. Above 70ºC, it loses three crystal waters and forms a monohydrate.

In the textile industry, it is used as an oxidant for the color development of indanthrene dyes and a bleaching agent for raw cloth. In medicine, it is used as a disinfectant, neomycin agent and (unclear term). In the chemical industry, it is used for bleaching oils, animal viscera and waxes, and can be used as a substitute for hydrogen peroxide and a polymerization agent for organic synthesis. In the daily chemical industry, it is used to prepare toothpaste and as an oxidant for cold perming, printing and hair dye powder. In addition, it is also used as a coal dyeing agent, detergent, analytical reagent and additive for electroplating solutions.
