Triethyl borate is colorless transparent liquid, boiling point 118.6 °C, relative density 0.864 (26/4 °C), refractive index 1.3740, flash point 11 °C. Easy to absorb moisture, easy to decompose into alcohol and boric acid in contact with water, with thermal stability.
