Product Description

Cyclohexylamine is a colorless and transparent liquid with a strong fishy and ammonia odor. It is flammable. Soluble in water, it can be miscible with common organic solvents such as ethanol, ether, acetone, ethyl acetate, chloroform, heptane, and benzene. Cyclohexylamine can volatilize with water vapor. It can absorb carbon dioxide in the air and form a white crystalline carbonate. It forms an azeotrope with water, with a boiling point of 96.4 °C and containing 55.8% water. The aqueous solution is alkaline. The pH of an aqueous solution with a concentration of 0.01% is 10.5. Its vapor forms an explosive mixture with air.

Applications

Cyclohexylamine can be used as a raw material for surfactants to produce cyclohexylamine alkylbenzene sulfonate, which is used in emulsifiers and foaming agents.
Perfume raw materials, production of allyl cyclohexyl propionate;
Dye raw materials, production of acid blue 62, disperse fluorescent yellow, disperse fluorescent yellow H5GL, weak acid blue BRN, disperse blue 6 and dye additives;
Food additive sweetener raw materials; cyclohexylamine can be used to produce cyclohexylamine sulfonate and sodium cyclohexyl sulfonate, the latter is a sweetener 30 times higher than cane sugar, trade name cyclamate, approved by the Ministry of Health of our country for pickles, seasoning sauces, preparation of wine, cakes, biscuits, bread, frozen drinks, beverages, the maximum usage is 0.65g/kg.
Pesticide raw materials for the production of the insecticide "Kacotec" for fruit trees, the herbicide Wilbur and fungicides;
Additives for the preparation of petroleum products, boiler feed water treatment agents, and corrosion inhibitors.
The raw material of rubber vulcanization accelerator is used to produce thiazole vulcanization accelerator CZ, which has excellent vulcanization performance and is especially suitable for SBR and FDA rubber.
Used as an anti-rust agent to produce anti-rust paper.
Cleaning agent;
Antifreeze;
Antistatic agents (textile additives), latex coagulants and petroleum product additives;
