Sodium Hydrosulphite is a colorless and transparent crystal. It is easily soluble in water and releases a lot of heat at the same time. It is also soluble in ethanol and glycerol; insoluble in acetone and ether. When exposed to the air, it will eventually completely dissolve into a solution.
