Product Description

Phloroglucinol is White or pale yellow crystalline or crystalline powder. Melting point 218 ºC. Usually with two molecules of crystalline water ([6099-90-7]), anhydrous at 110 ºC. Soluble in 100 parts of water, 10 parts of ethanol, 0.5 parts of pyridine. Soluble in ether. Partially decomposed when sublimated, discolored in light. Sweet taste.
