This product is a broad-spectrum antibiotic. By inhibiting bacterial DNA gyrase, DNA synthesis and replication are blocked, leading to bacterial death. It has strong antibacterial activity against Escherichia coli, Klebsiella pneumoniae and other Enterobacter genera; its antibacterial effect on Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Staphylococcus aureus and Streptococcus pneumoniae is better than that of norfloxacin and pefloxacin. It is used for otitis media, external otitis and tympanitis caused by sensitive bacteria. Occasionally, there may be middle ear pain and itching.
