Product Description

β-Alanine, also known as β-aminopropionic acid and 3-aminopropionic acid. It is white rhombic crystal or powder. Molecular weight is 89.09. Melting point is 200ºC (decomposition). Relative density is 1.437. Soluble in water, slightly soluble in methanol and ethanol, insoluble in ether and acetone. This product is non-toxic, but contact with eyes and skin should be avoided. It has a slight hazard to water. Avoid contact with strong oxidants.
