As a raw material to synthesize anionic surfactants (such as sulfate salts: sodium 2-hexyldodecyl sulfate, AHS) or nonionic surfactants (such as polyoxyethylene ethers), which are used in detergents and emulsifiers (such as oilfield flooding agents and pesticide emulsifiers).In skin care products, it is used as an emollient or emulsifier to improve the product texture (such as lotions and creams). Due to its low irritation, it is suitable for baby care products.
