1-bromopentane is Colorless liquid. Melting point -95.25ºC, boiling point 129.7ºC, at 21ºC(1.33kPa), relative density 1.2237(15/4ºC), refractive index 1.4444, flash point 31ºC. Insoluble in water, soluble in alcohols, and can be mixed with ethers in any proportion.
