Product Description

Cinnamyl Acetate is Colorless to light yellow transparent liquid, with a sweet balsamic, rose and vetiver blended aroma. Flash point is 118°C, and boiling point is 264°C. It is miscible with ethanol, chloroform, ether and most non-volatile oils, and is almost insoluble in glycerol and water.

Applications

It can be used as a modifier for cinnamic alcohol and has good fixative ability. It is appropriately used in floral fragrances such as carnation, hyacinth, lilac, lily of the valley, jasmine, gardenia, cyclamen, daffodil, etc. When used in rose fragrance, it can increase the warm and sweet effect, but the dosage should be small; when used together with geranium, a beautiful rose style can be obtained. It is also often used in food flavors such as cherry, grape, peach, apricot, apple, berry, pineapple, cinnamon, cassia, etc.
