2-Hydroxypropyl Methacrylate is colorless liquid. Boiling point 96 °C (1.33 kPa), 57 °C (66.7 Pa), relative density 1.066 (25/16 °C), refractive index 1.4470, flash point 96 °C. Soluble in general organic solvents, still soluble in water.

Applications

It is used as reactive diluent and crosslinking agent in radiation curing system, and can also be used as resin crosslinking agent, plastic, rubber modifier. It can be used to produce modifiers for thermoset coatings, adhesives, fiber treatments and synthetic resin copolymers.
