Diethyl sebacate is Colorless to slightly yellow liquid with an aroma of wine, fruits and melons. Boiling point 302 °C. Melting point 1-3 °C. Insoluble in water and miscible in ethanol, ether, most non-volatile oils and other organic solvents.
